Screening - Complimentary (up to 30 min)

An occupational therapy screening is a brief, preliminary evaluation conducted to determine whether an individual may benefit from comprehensive occupational therapy services. The purpose of the screening is to identify potential areas of concern and to guide decisions about the need for further evaluation or intervention. Screenings may take place via phone call, virtual, or in-person.

Evaluation $200 (60-90 min)

An occupational therapy evaluation is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand a child’s strengths and challenges in performing developmentally appropriate daily activities. The evaluation includes parent/caregiver interviews, clinical observations, and the use of standardized and non-standardized assessment tools to examine areas such as fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care abilities, play, social interaction, and school readiness. The therapist considers the child’s developmental history and current functional abilities across various environments. The results of the evaluation are used to develop an individualized intervention plan aimed at supporting the child’s development, promoting independence, and enhancing participation in meaningful routines and activities.

Treatment

Treatment involves individualized, goal-directed interventions designed to help children develop the skills necessary to participate in everyday activities at home, school, and in the community. Therapy is delivered through engaging, play-based activities that are developmentally appropriate and tailored to each child's unique needs and interests. Collaboration with parents, caregivers, and educators is an integral part of treatment to support carryover of skills across all environments and to promote the child’s overall growth, independence, and participation.
